Privacy policy

Your tag databases

The converter reads your InTouch or iFIX export files inside your browser tab. The files, the tags in them and the converted Ignition JSON are never sent to us or to anyone else. The project file you save contains only your mapping settings (rules, priorities, UDT decisions and, if you add one, your license key) and stays where you save it.

Your browser’s local storage keeps your current settings and which project a one-project license is used with, so the page can restore them. You can clear this at any time in your browser settings.

Purchases

Payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited, our Merchant of Record. Paddle collects your name, e-mail address, billing address and payment details under its own privacy policy. To deliver your license key we read the e-mail address on your Paddle payment record when an order completes and send you one e-mail with Resend, our e-mail provider: your key, a short thank-you and getting-started steps. We do not store that address.

We store, for each license key: the key itself, its tier and dates, the Paddle transaction id, and a keyed hash of your e-mail address (not the address itself), so the key can be re-sent on request. A license key contains the first 16 characters of a hash of your e-mail address and, if you entered one, the project name you chose.

Resend form and logs

When you use the “resend my key” form we look up the keyed hash of the address you enter and e-mail any matching keys to that address. To prevent abuse we keep a keyed hash of your IP address and of the e-mail address in a rate-limit counter for up to three days. Our service logs contain event types, ids and counts only — no e-mail addresses. The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes IP addresses to deliver and protect the service.

Waitlist

While online checkout is not open, you can leave your e-mail address on the pricing section to hear when it opens. We store that address, the plan you looked at and the date, in our database on Cloudflare, and use it only to write to you when checkout opens. It is not shared or used for anything else. We delete it on request (e-mail us) and automatically 12 months after you joined. Our logs record only whether an entry was added, never the address.

Cookies and tracking

TagBridge sets no cookies and uses no analytics or advertising trackers. Paddle’s checkout window sets its own cookies when you open it.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of the data we hold about you, or for its deletion, by e-mail. After deletion we can no longer re-send your key. We answer within 30 days. You may also contact your data protection authority.
